Death and Taxes took down Nefarian tonight (9/28).

It took a tremendous amount of effort and I'm incredibly proud of everyone that was there through all the progress, from the wipes to the dragon's demise.

We were the third guild worldwide to Nefarian and second in the US. Most notably on the same server as the first worldwide kill =]

The drops were as follows:

Ashkandi, Great Sword of the Brotherhood
Breastplate of Wrath
Dragonstalker's Breastplate
Crul'shorukh, Edge of Chaos
and of course, The head of Nefarian

The encounter itself is alot of fun, we all look forward to the 4 new outdoor raid bosses in the upcoming 1.8 patch.

Not to take away from you accomplishment, grats, but you were actually 4th. Two german horde guilds in co-operation did it a few hours before you guys; http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-dungeons-en&t=20326&p=1&tmp=1#post20326

The kill was exploited, they even admitted it on their guild forums. Go read up in the raids form.

They didnt exploit, it was a legit kill. I dont know where u guys found something on their forum?! It was the first horde kill worldwide and 3rd total. They even made a statement on www.tia-ra.de and their video will follow soon. Just cause one twink says they exploited, you guys are all jumping on the train?

Because it's the internet and people believe things easily. Basically it was said that they posted on their forums that they exploited it or in a post on the WoW forums that was removed, and it was also rumored that several members of the guild were given short-term bans.

I'm on EU Server Silvermoon, where Inner Sanctum play those guys got some skillz and i'm guessin you must aswell so nice one, and keep it up.

Also wondering if the video link has gone or am i just a blind n00b who cant see it?

But what about next Ashbringer secret? Anyone talked to Prince in DM Library after killed Nefy?

Just saw the video. Congrats guys and gals. Amazing. Makes me want to get a huge guild together so badly to take him down. I hope I'm able to participate and bring him down sooner or later.
