Yeah they are hawt !

Kinda sucks though.... Any cheeseball guild can grind pvp rank and get MC quality loot.

It devalues MC efforts somewhat imo. Unless of course Rag drops crazy shit.

Blizz already said they would revisit the tier 1 & 2 sets stats.I'm thinking they'll probably buff them quite a bit...

I hope so anyway

edit:

Oh, and 104str, 55agi, and 18 int on the paladin epic set, that's ...yeah...

I hope so too man.

As much as I love the PVP rewards, I don't think they should compete with raid rewards.

There should be a distinct advantage for mastering MC.

moise, as much as i would love more int, its a pvp set, blizzard is just building the set around what most pallys will be doing (even if that is shitty dps, yes paladins you heard me we do shitty dps live with it)

those pvp sets have hardcore pvp stats, its so different than pve where you want a balanced build, spirit means kinda shit in pvp as the action is so fast that you will be dead before having 400 spirit takes its effect.

i can tell from these stats that blizzard is planning on pvp being fast paced and lots of death which i couldnt be more happier of except im not going to be the one dying =D

Yeah, but let's face it, paladin healing will probably play a big role in group pvp. I didn't say anything about spirit, in fact why would I care about spirit in pvp anyway... A good paladin set should be more balanced between strength and intellect, because when priests start dying and your group is relying on you to keep them alive, 18 int won't help that much :p

One one on one situations however, the paladin sets are really interesting.

well i was just using spirit as an example, but honestly this is one reason why i love the guys here at DnT, we know our classes. you dont see one valordin (thats right vic get your ass bac to LF =P) here and we have a balanced group of paladins. But look at other guilds, most are valordins based around agility and str as far off as this is from the purpose of a pally they make up the majority and therefore blizz will create their set around that. Good thing is we can still wear whatever belt and bracers we want and so i plan to use my LF belt and LB bracers to counter this lack of int

BTW IMAGE SERVER IS DOWN FTW :D

Wow, I've never seen such feral oriented gear before o.O

im really really disappointed in the druid set, its completely specced for feral while offering 50-70 less stamina than almost every other set available. blizzard does not seem to realize a druids role in gvg is not in feral forms.
seems like they wanted to give our set a bit of everything, but last second decided it was too powerful and toned everything down by 30%.
priests have 28 stamina on their helms we have 16 gfg
i will probably only be wearing my pvp set in IF, and when i go farm. ridonculous

Now I feel dumb. I was mistaking 'set' bonuses and 'equip' bonuses.

The rogue set isn't really much compared to slayer/fang.

Theres a lot of STA but not much else, I think full nightslayer would dominate full PvP just because of the damage...we'll see ...I plan on having both :)

i dont think they would make the pvp set more powerful then say a full tier 1 or tier two set. its just supposed to be an option for those that dont have those items readily available like we do.

WTB a working WoW website!

Now that I can finally access the site, I have the agree that the paladin set is pretty shitty in terms of stats. It's a shame, because it looks so nice in terms of artwork. I can duel perfectly fine in my pve gear, and spirit can actually help me out a lot if I retreat and wait for cooldowns. In group pvp, which seems to be Blizzard's goal in the future, that set is complete crap. You cast two heals and you're oom? Go use your useless DPS. At least you'll live longer because no one considers you a threat when you have no mana...

WTB +int instead of +agil and -.5 sec on Holy Light or Flash of Light as a set bonus instead of useless +attack crit.

Go to the "Best in Class" and see who is mentioned as best pallly. No offense but they are not representating the paladin class at all. There are a few on that list that i respect and admire for their skill but most are guy who think they are gimped warriors with a convinent mana bar. Paladins are a bitch class that are good at a lot and not great at anything so sooner you accept this the better it is overall for your group. Many hold me as one of the best paladins and why? cause im balanced and i accept that praying for a SoC proc wont win be battles but since i dont duel in dun mourgh 24/7 people wont see this because im a team player and not a one man army.

I think and hope that you are correct. The discussion about whether to get new recruits because of full raids and whether or not people mind sitting out comes into play here... folks like me who don't particularly care for frequent lengthy raids and would give up their spots to those who want it still have the opportunity to get great items by "raiding" the opposing faction. I have always preferred PvP myself, and if one can pimp himself out by PvP'ing instead of having to grind through instances all the time, that would be awesome. Shadow Priest here I come again... ;)

As a side note, it's rather a shame that all the PvP reward items are lvl58+, I hope they implement some items ranging from 25 on up to 60, since one can begin PvP'ing at low levels, and easily build up honor rank simply by fighting people their own level. And this will hopefully be more prevalent now that honor has been implemented and high people will perhaps not be ganking as much in Hillsbrad as much, leaving the lowbies alone to fight each other.
