AP Whore Rogues [Archive] - Death & Taxes

i was just wondering if there are any other attack power whores out there. i havent seem to found any on my server, there are some that are trying but they just cant get the gear, and will most likely go for full bloodfang anyways.

I didnt like the bloodfang thing. it looks cool, but you have weak Attack power and OK crit, whats the point in that?

With my set up i have 1086 attack power 4493 HP 24.21% crit. to me this really seems to be the way to go, i can bust out FotF and hit harder then other rogues with perds. :mrt:

I use bloodfang cuz the proc is pretty nifty.. I try to balance.. so right now i have 32% crit, 4350 HP, and like 980 AP. I'm a dagger rogue so Crit is definitely important, but i still hit hard. 8/8 bloodfang procs alot so its definitely work keeping.. But i plan to break it with 5/5 AQ set

i dont find the proc that great when 2 shotting casters, and shadowmelding. to stealth and kill again, it might help for fight warriors but most the time are you dead unless they are morons and dont use zerker rage when they go to battle stance to overpower you.

Got my ZG trinket, and i can drop about 4.5k in non crit dmg on someone in about 5 seconds.

That is indeed true... Especially since my hunter has about 3 hours time played in the last month or so. spent about 2 hours in AB one night for fun when my twink bracket was done, and then log in every now and again to make some money crafting.

Anyways I know in my guild we have two really AP Whore Rogues. Myself and a friend named Obliteration get as much as we can. I have 1048 and will jump about 50 once I grab decent shoulders, and he has about 1140 (i've been gone the last month so hes geared up a bit). With my AQR I get 900+ ss crits on clothies pretty often : ). I also have crusader mainhand and i dont use my HoJ (oblits the same way) so we could have a bit more if we were really crazy.

Well I like Venomous more for raids with dual instants. I also have Zandalar/Drakefang/Badge of the Swarmguard so im good on trinkets. Do you think HoJ is better than all those? If so I might get one.
