hate to break it to ya but in Europe we dont get the patch till tomorrow :) so Nihilum downed him without the fix <3

No, they didn't. There was no patch, just a server side hotfix that was applied to all realms. The US realms were lucky enough to get it on reset day, so they have a full clear ahead of them.

Shrug, when we get around to clearing AQ. I'm sure we'll clear to him today or tomorrow depending on the lag. Honestly, when you look at it now, does it really matter?

It's pretty stupid that the EU servers go to try him without having to reclear.

It's pretty stupid that the EU servers go to try him without having to reclear.
It's pretty stupid that US got WoW 6 months before EU.
It's pretty stupid that US had the chance to get Tier 2 from Molten Core while EU was still only trying out MC.
It's pretty stupid that US guilds were better geared due to having the game longer, when BWL hit WoW.
It's pretty stupid that EU have had no chance to betatest any end-game content or learning anything before it gets released.
It's pretty stupid that every patch hits US 2 days(or 9, as it also happens sometimes) before EU.
It's pretty stupid that US war effort started 5 days before EU.
So all in all, there are alot of things that are pretty stupid. But the "OMG, Blizz favors EU" crap that goes on in various threads on US forums is just ridiculous.

Not sure either, but it was the only thing that the first person I quoted wrote, hence why I reacted. No recognition of the work done by those guilds.

The war effort, the test servers, the cockblocks, DnT, Maintenance... all of AQ is one big fucking mess. Anyone with half a brain understands this. First kill on cthun or Ouro is completly irrelevant.

you quoted the wrong dude, in regards to world firsts. CCL. i am more interested in your progress as a guild towards end-game. not your standing in the realm of which guild does what the fastest. pioneers rarely get full recognition for paving the way for others.

I fixed that for you.
About the only thing that came good out of this entire stupid ass way to delay content from coming out was the fact that i D/E'd enough junk to level my enchanter from 0 -300 in 2 days.

Although world firsts are always great, there will always be a group of guilds who will constantly be on the cutting edge of end-game content. And it was random(or not, thanks to Blizz) who would get the first kill. Not to mention only some servers had the hotfixes it seems. Some of the best EU guilds had major issues with the fight on their servers, while others had no problems at all.
All in all, Blizzard fails. We can only hope that Naxx will be better.

Agreed, i'm a farmer and major contributor on our server horde side and it was agonizingly annoying to me. I'm sure it seemed like a great idea in someones head over at blizzard and i'l sure all the RP servers got off on that shit but i'm sure it only pissed off all the PvP servers. That shit ass collection, the buggy encounters and the shit loot i'm sure took more people out of the game than i brought in.
Here's to hoping naxx is worth while.
