Hunters?

Any hunters with a talent spec for highest ranged damage output? I've been talked into making a hunter and that's the way I intend to go.

The only question you need to ask yourself for marksmanship is whether to put points in barrage, efficiency, or imp. hunters mark. Left over points go into beast/survival as you see fit. (2/2 Barrage 3/5 efficiency recommended)

I'm 31/20 but trueshot isn't that great. Counterattack is a better skill imo.

Also for leveling go beast mastery until 40 since your pet will be a good source of dps and you get pathfinding. (I didn't, but it makes more sense in hindsight.)

Thanks for the input Skywing. Power, what's wrong? Don't like your class? (BTW I hear rumors that moving autoshot and multi-shot are coming in the next patch. Oh and interestingly enough Agi bonus change from 50 to 23 per crit.)

WOW! If that is true ill be happy. Id love a moving multishot, autoshot seems a bit out of hand. someone is trying to run, cheetah and autoshot lol. But anyway my build is 33-18 went up to deterance in survival. I had 10 in beast mastery while leveing, imp aspect of the hawk and the thing that makes my pet have more HP. Hope that helps.

When I leveled I never put a single point in beast mastery. To me all those skills are rather useless besides a few higher tier ones. Anyhow my current build is

Imp Arcane shot

I will also have to agree with skywing that I would rather have counterattack (but thats honestly only for pvp).
