Here's how I roll:
Assasination: 31
Imp Eviscerate: 3/3
Remorseless Attacks: 2/2
Malice: 5/5
Lethality: 5/5
Murder: 2/2
Ruthlessness: 3/3
Relentless Strikes: 1/1
Cold Blood: 1/1
Imp Kidney Shot: 3/3
Seal Fate: 5/5
Vigor: 1/1
Combat: 8
Imp Gouge: 3/3
Lightning Reflexes: 2/5
Imp Backstab: 3/3
Subtlety
Master of Deception: 5/5
Oppurtunity: 5/5
Imp Ambush: 2/3
In the new patch attack power will correctly modify ambush and backstab. Lethality will still effect backstab but NOT ambush. What does this mean?
Backstab: will be hitting for about 300+ more than it currently is, so for me about 1200-1300 average.
Ambush: Even though lethality will no longer effect ambush, having attack power correctly modify the damage will still INCREASE the damage of ambush. Instead of ambushing for 1400 or so I'd be ambushing for about 1500 maybe. If lethality worked I'd be at about 1900-2000 ish.
With all that said I'm probably going to keep the same spec (mainly for money reasons). I'm thinking about dropping improved ambush and getting 2 more points in lightning reflexes, we'll see. Other than that, I think you'll find this build quite powerful.
Another good build would be 21/20/10 with Riposte (Lloyd's build).
Overall both dagger and sword rogues (lethality + ap will now correctly modify sinister strikes damage) are getting a nice damage boost. The PvP trinket and being able to vanish out of sheep and fear, along with the diminishing returns on cold spells and fear, basically mean rogues own casters. Arms/Fury warriors (shawn/shitty) will still beat rogues constitently, especially with some of the newer weapons.
Basically look for rogues to come at your cloth like a pterrodactyl for easy honorable kills and vanish like little babies when an offensive warrior comes by...or have 2 rogues gank anyones face :).
