Hi DnT and other !
I don't know if I have to wait BC and reroll a draenei shaman or if I whould up a 60 right now until BC's release. (warrior/rogue or mage)
(Indeed I don't have any 60)
What would you make at my place ?

The *majority* of new content is post-60 but there's also some low level (1-25ish) new content you could explore if you rerolled. Also depends on which type of class you like to play.

yeh. if you wish to try out new classes/races then go ahead. it's pretty interesting and fun in BC regarding the latest low-end content.
also, if you wish to become a hardcore raider, IMO it would be easier if you re-rolled a shaman. mages, warriors, rogues going into BC would probably be more prepared in terms of gear.
then again, i think it's all up to you personally.

I've read that HLencounter in BC will need pallys AND shamans : is that real or not ?

Can someone find the blue post where it is said that few encounters will need both pala/sham ?

Why would you not bring shamans and paladins? They both provide excellent support and as far as paladin goes (dont know shams well enough to tell you) they got 3 very decent trees. Im not sure why would you need Blizz to tell you, you should bring all your tools to win.

i havent seen anything that sais you need to specifically bring shammies to an encounter, but at the same time, how can it hurt?

Yeah I just wanted to know if they must be a shaman in a raid to down X boss with frostshock only :p
But I don't think so.
But I love the idea to have both pallys and shamys in a raid (mana, heals, ... ^^)
So I will reroll shamy in BC Im' sure now. But, what do I do until BC with my lvl 7 mage ? ';(
