How good is Mutilate?

I'm curious if you guys have tried out Mutilate, and whether if it's good or not. From the videos i've seen, it seems to really blow, but then again, the rogues in the videos have pretty horrid gear.

Suprise attacks and shadowstep aren't really that OMFG AMAZING, so I really hope atleast mutilate is really good. Besides that, i'm really happy we had cloak of shadows as a non talent trainable abillity! Now to fix everything else.

In my Humble opinion, I think that the 70 combat talents are much better than assas or stealth. I am not saying to go full into COmbat but try something like this: 17/44/0. Unless you are into stealth, I think you should stay with combat.

If you only have daggers, Mutilate is the way to go for solo leveling. With good gear, Cheap Shot ---> Mutilate ---> 5 pt KS ---> Mutilate ---> Envenom = dead mob, at least until lvl 67ish.

I'm hearing that it's the best 1 vs. 1/world pvp spec, but can't stand to prep builds in arenas. It would be nice to hear that it's a good arena spec, but compared to Seal Fate/Prep, I can't imagine how.

Schmitty, wait, so your saying Mutilate is even better than combat for leveing? hmm....I guess if you can kill most mobs between cs and ks, I guess I can't argue.

Well, with Mutilate you can burst incredibly hard in PvP, it's also a great tool for early leveling if you have exceptional gear. I used Mutilate to level in alpha from 60-67 and again from 60-70 in beta. The burst isn't always there as your target has to be poisoned however the combo point generation makes up for it. While I was leveling I would typically kill mobs and be on the next one before my KS had cooled down :)

I don't see any serious Arena/PvP oriented Rogues speccing Mutilate simply because of how useful Preperation is.

Luckily for me, Anujit is leetness beyond leet and actually stayed alive the whole time. Then I tore both the rogue's faces off.

Ah, so it is indeed more of a world pvp kind of talent. Interesting. I don't have amazing gear, so I guess mutilate isn't for me for leveling, maybe a bit of world pvp till i hit the arenas, but unless they make it somehow more useful that prep in arenas, Mutilates probably not going to be the build for me.

Also, is anujit indian? That's such as indian name.
