With the up coming expansion many of the horde that I play with are in aggreeance that BC will represent the end of the raiding shaman. With the Horde getting pally's and raid spots being cut down to 25 it is becoming apparent that the few shaman raiding spots will be taken by pally's or other more needed classes. So I pose the question to D&T or any other raiding guilds - do you have any intentions of adding/keeping shaman's to your raids or will this class simply become "that alt class"?

Shaman are a no-brainer in my eyes. The class has a lot of specialized utility and I think it'll be valuable. You also have to keep in mind everything will be balanced around all the classes now. I'd imagine you'd keep atleast a shammy or two on the raid staff for their unique skills.

At the end of the day you will still be crying when Rogues force your shamans to use Grace of Air instead of Windfury.

Blackened and the other rogues will be like "that totem gives 77 Agility?" and the shamans will magically appear in their groups.

Because a DPS warrior will most definitely be put in the same group as the MT/OT.
