Okay, so my main spell that i use currently is healing touch rank 4, i'll use rank 6 and that's about it, besides tossing some rejuves every now and then. I'm the kind of healer that simply spams rank 4 all over the place and relies very heavily on mp5 gear. As we all know, the healing system is being dramitically revamped this next patch with a huge nerf to low rank spells. I was kind of curious about something. With the huge buff coming to hots and the addition of yet another hot to the druid's arsenel, i'm curious if it's still even worth it to put talents into healing touch related items. There's talents to reduce casting time and some to give you additional +healing to healing touch spells, but are they worth it at all if low rank spells are being nerfed so much? Would it be reasonable to assume that i should just bag low rank healing touches and concentrate on the new found love of hots? What are your thoughts on this? I currently have 38 mana per tick in battle and +660 to healing in raid gear and 43 mana per tick and +600 to healing in regen gear.

thanks,
Friez

With the serious increase of stamina on the expansion gear, and therefore the significant increase in HP, i would assume that using the "higher" ranks of HT would make more sense post BC release.

As I'm not playing TBC Beta this is just an assumption though.

hmm, that's a good point, and by using a higher rank ht, you don't get your +healing for that spell nerfed as much...

the main reason that i use rank 4 (besides the mana cost) is the 2.5 second cast, all my other ht spells at 3 second and regrowth is just too mana inneffecient to use that often.
