Hey.. I'm just wondering if I should get the sword OH or dagger OH for my rogue. ATM I'm combat daggers (15/41/5) but will be switching to swords once I get my Hope Ender, Spiteblade or Talon of Azshara to drop. Since the sword specialization doesn't apply to OH I was thinking of getting the shiv because of its 1.4 AS as oppose to 1.5 AS causing more Combat Potency to proc. the sword has 6 more min dmg and 12 more top end dmg than the dagger.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be helpful =)

2 swords is very neccesary for sword specialization procs. But if you want to wait for the season 2 stuff, thats on you to decide.

I dont know if that's revealed yet, but I'm saving my points and unless you're gunning for a top spot to get that netherdrake in these last few weeks, it's probably best you do too.

Splash,
A few points, most already touched on:
1: New season = New Arena Gear.
2: Sword spec does work with sword offhand.
3: Sword spec always results in mainhand swings.
4: In most cases its far better to have weapons that match your weapon spec than to not.

I can't even fathom how you've come to ask this question.
It totally fucking baffles me.

Yeah, I know it was a nooby question, but I haven't used a sword in main-hand (combat spec to be exact) since probably June 06 so I was kinda lost =P. Anyways, thanks for the help.
