My name is Council, I am a Dwarven shadowpriest from Stonemaul realm, and I had an inquiry on you're views of +haste rating

I've armory'd two of you're shadowpriests, Intricacy and Minimoo, and have noticed a significant difference in how the two of you decide on gear.

From what i can tell, you two shadowpriests have slightly over 100 +shadow damage difference, but what seems interesting is that Minimoo seems to stack +haste rating gear.

Granted: I realize that either of you may or may not be waiting for more gear to drop that can still be obtained or whatever, but I was curious on you're discoveries about the gear

Besides talent point differences, how close are you two in damage meters? Does stacking +haste rating have as big of an impact as i think it does?

before i finished 4pc t6, we ran pretty equivalent in terms of dms, it's hard to give a definite answer because sometimes one of us has a shaman and the other does not

we also used different specs for awhile (i went the 5/5 blast no swd route and moo went the 2/5 or less blast w/ swd route) - and during that time it was extremely fight dependent on who faired better. if moo could death without fear of dying, he could beat me out, but if he couldn't I'd be over him.

overall, the general calculation is at 1400 dmg, 7 haste = 1 dmg (there abouts). when we were 50 ish dmg separated and he had haste, but i didn't, i feel he out dpsed me for sure on most occasions. as our dmg difference increased, i think i'm beating him more regularly now. (4pc t6 equates to something like 50 dps).

moo hadn't planned on going the haste route, but he had some weak gear slots (rings/belt/bracers), and haste gear dropped and no one else wanted it, and basically it was sorta like cocaine for him!

i think his end game set includes more of the route i went. under ideal circumstances for each of us, you want 4 pc t6 (any shadow priest with access to it that doesn't go for it is a moron), which is not flay friendly obv, and less flay means less benefit from haste since it does not affect GCD. you also run into a point where without a shaman, haste over dmg means the possibility of going oom if you are running a very aggressive dmg rotation.

sorry for the long windedness and hope i actually answered your question, need coffee etc tt qq
