hey guys, After a year of making do with a wii, I have found a cheap premium 360 set. Has live, the good hard drive, all the nice stuff. Came with 3 games:
PGR ( crap I know)
the Outfit
DoA4
I have the spare cash right now to get two new games- what should they be?

Mass Effect is awesome if you like RPG's.

Sick story,huge playground,lots of different quests and an awesome compendium of all the races,their history,biology all the planets , etc.

Yeah i'm so overwhelmed by Mass Effect.

Other than that...Call of Duty 4 if you get along with FPS' on consoles.

well, i got halo 3.....and ive played it for maybe 20-30 minutes total. I got alot more play time out of Mass Effect/Assassins Creed. Mass Effect will have you wanting to play through more than once. (New Game + RPG has always hit home with me, ala Chrono Trigger)

And yes you are correct, if Halo and Kotor had a baby....Mass Effect is damn close to what it would look like. Imagine Kotor, but everytime you see a monster/enemy you pull out a gun and you have a crosshair. When they die you get exp.

i saw it last night. My dad bought me Timeshift, but gave me a gift receipt. So i swapped it for Orange Box (they were sold out of bioshock?) and saw cod4 was $37.99

The general impression seems to be on these forums that it is, quite a decent game to pick up and play just an hour or two. Stab some people and then go play or do something else for a while since it gets repatative quite easily.
