Well now that my computer is actually good for a change I'm looking for some new FPS's / RTS's to play. I was thinking either Battlefield 2142 or Call of Duty 4. Now all I really want is the online aspect of the game, its replay value, and its gameplay. Mind help me out here?

Also for the RTS I was thinking either World in Conflict or Supreme Commander.

If you guys have any other games in mind you can bring those up as well, I'm always up to try something new.

My Specs are as follows:
-Nvidea 8800 GTS SLI x2
-Nvidea mobo SLI compatible
-Intel Quad Core Q6600
-4Gb Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066
-80gb Hard Drive x2 running in RAID 0 Mode

COD4 is really fun, its got the BF2 style ranking system where u level up and unlock new gametypes, guns, attachments for guns, perks and different challenges and the multiplayer is soooo addicting

CoD4 all the way, especially when being compared to 2142. The Single player game is actually fun, but the online play is awesome :)

Alright. Now what about RTS's? I'm sick of the command and conquer style RTS's nowadays. I was thinking about either picking up World in Conflict or Supreme Commander. Thats the only unique ones I can personally think of.

Company of Heroes is pretty good. And if you have Vista on your system you can really put it to the test with it's pretty DX10 explosions.

I'd recommend you CoD4, since your system can easily handle it. (Believe me, it's AWESOME.)

CoD4 because Battlefield is at the same time a mekka and a (vehicle-)playground for skill-handicapped people.

picked up CoD4 which is great. I love it. I've been playing mostly multiplayer with about 1 hour into the campaign. Also picked up Supreme Commander and dual monitored it, another great pick. Its very strategic and very difficult to master, but I love challenging games.

Two Times Over on COD4 if you want to add me somehow.

Stevo7390 on Supreme Commander

PS: I tried Crysis' demo and it was a decent FPS. It seems like its all eye candy and no real gameplay though. Got about an average 50-80 FPS during fights on it though.

On Crysis,i usually catch myself running around playing with koreans for HOURS.

Best thing so far was changing their flightdirection by throwing them into an explosive barell.
