the old version of Star Wars galaxies is being reprogrammed by these guys (not the gay combat upgrade, or the NGE).

They have made a bunch of progress on it (almost every combat prof is on the test servers), and crafting is being tested by the programmers now, and some of it should hopefully be in the game sometimes in this month or next perhaps? :D!!!

I played SWG When it first came out and their were no vehicles. Played it for a few months but lost interest quickly. I can remember the coolest part of the game was that you could build your own city more or less. I also remember seeing a Jedi be killed and that was a big deal beacuse once you die as a Jedi you lose your powers or something.

its coming but only after they allowed open sourcing. hopefully it will get off the ground, but i dont think it will show up any time soon. i know i am waiting for it =) i sent them some packets a year ago or so when they were asking for them.

Actually there was some serious shit on my server.We where hunting for ancient krayts just before server down.About 20 minutes before server down we got a legendary scale (the ones for weaponsmiths needs).So a friend made a template and "cloned" them,using an exploit.Voilą,we had exceptional sniper rifles,pistols,carbines,etc. all over the fucking place.It ruined pvp.It was awesome.I had a 1600 max dmg powerhammer too.

So much fun to get lootrights over dps.

took me 20 profs to get jedi :(, grinding was pretty easy, cept for grinding a crafting class (<3 crafting, best system ever in a game)

yeah i had a be/as.Was the shit because my guild was the servers only one with access to full RIS.Every few days,we've torn that bitch up.Seriously.

I never was into the jedi bs though,i always felt it was totally stupid to make jedi grindable,but we all heard that a thousand times,so i stayed bh/pistoleer and bh/fencer with sliced 6xx max dmg stun batons,it was hilarious.

Yeah man,i miss those days.Kicking each others asses 24/7 because there where europeans and north americans on my server.We guarded each others bases when they slept/worked and had pvp all fucking day.Bunkerteam go.

only surveying is working for artistan right now, they didnt let us have general crafting tools yet :(, you just go to the trainers and learn everything and anything you want right now =p, tho i cant wait till they get xp working too :)

/bump, still addicted to this fraking game lmao... only a few classes (creature handler, bio engin) arent playable yet, player houses/harvesters are almost in, but pretty much everything else is done

The rubberbanding lag was too much for me...couldn't get into it.

yup, trainers are where their suppose to be, so theres not a line of em in theed, or anchorhead, no gungan/blue frog for items and stuff either, besides the items being sold on the bazaar :D

btw i almost shat myself when i was running through lok and all of a sudden i run into a kimo lair, lmao.

more like leveling without buffs is the fun part :p, right now im just playing around with the classes, im novice ranger, 3-0-0-1 riflemen, 0-0-2-0 medic, and some in artisan since i missed crafting :P

mmmm well you have to have either the original cds, or the new version of swg (not the trial, i tried, they wont let ya lol), to play this version of the game.

It's a fun game, just takes awhile to get used to everything (mainly interface commands), cause you really are just thrown into a city to do what you want lol.. and the 30+ different classes you can be doesnt help the overwhelmingness of it all

trando is gimp...no boots, one of the 4 armor pieces that actually matter. I wonder if they ever fixed that bug.
