I'm planning to do some arena, mostly 3v3 I think, because 5v5 just seems to be zerging most of the time, and because of my uber defense skill, it's not been that much fun. Affliction is really good in 2s, it's pretty good in 3s also. If you wanted to do 5s, however, you would have to spec something like this: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IVZbxczIiz0tsZxx0tr0z You really stand no chance in 5's without soul link. Maybe go all the way to felguard if thats more your playstyle.

No, i dont like felguard :< It looks amazing next to my female gnome warlock, but i just dont like to ctrl+1 a target and then quitting to use my pet. I hoped to survive the Train with my voidbubble, because i just got ~8k hp yet, and dont feel like soullink is that strong, cause i feel to spend points on a heavily gimped talent (i was playing wl when it was 50%, 30% and now 20% -.-).

2v2,3v3 you can rock with Affliction and a good guy next to you.but 5v5 is a no-no without SL.It sucks i know. Oh and destruction is awful.

5/41/11 x/31/21 xx/31/0 for 5s. Notice the trend. The last would probably be the best for 3s/2s.

SL is good, except in 5v5's..... go destro and hope they don't focusfire you in the group....hide in a tauren or draenei

affliction is amazing for 5s if you got another lock in the grp or a diff class that people tend to think is OP so they target them first, that way you help the focus fire by UA'ing everyone and dotting everyone so teh healers are confused etc... I agree SL is best for 5s, but it helps to have UA if you can sacrifice the burst.. or have other players doing great burst dmg
