Addon: Smarty

It doesn't rely on the combat log, it works on PTR and Live. The only moment it will break is when there is an internal change in the client for UnitDebuff function. Looks like this will happen for WoTLK. I will be making an update sometime this weekend. I've been meaning to rewrite this mod into Ace3.0, I promised it a while ago. Though, my interest in WoW did change quite a bit after that. It seems this mod has gotten quite a lot of good mentions, so I may rekindle my WoW interest for the sake of a new version (No promises!) Anyways, hang tight for a few days so I can get a fixed version for WoTLK out. If I don't, be certain that there will be a fixed version for when WoTLK does go live.

Doesn't seem to work for me at WOTLK. I write /smarty but I can't press Enter <.<

Make sure the folder is called Smarty and not SmartyWoTLK? Make sure you have enabled 'out of date' addons.

I did that. I see the smarty square on screen showing the number of buffs/debuffs on target only. But I can't enter the menu...

Use Fubar, or right click no the frame. It should show? It's worked for my self and another, so likely on your end. If you can do /smarty toggle, the mod should be working fine.

Hi. I found this add-on on wow-interface and noticed it was outdated so I came to these forums for the add-on Great addon, thank you for the update. I did notice with 3.02, you can see the duration of all debuffs/buffs anyone now. Is this the cause for the debuffs (from other players, not casted by yourself) showing up? I selected Individual (thinking that shows only the debuffs that I casted) but it shows SW, VT, VE, Devouring Plague from other shadowpriests as well. It does track only mine once I put mines up, but once it wears off, it starts tracking other people's dots and I might end up thinking that my debuff's still up. Thank you for the addon Also a function to make it click through once you've locked the addon up would be nice. Although I found a way to make it click through permanently by changing the .lua file's mouse functions, this won't let me edit the debuffs after, but that doesn't matter. Anyways Great Addon

There is a new version for WoTLK just for that change Blizzard made on the debuffs. I could make the frame transparent and clickable through, but that would require that you have Fubar, which not all players would have.
